Getting a People are Everything company atmosphere up and running can be effectively started using a video seminar conducted by the author, Lawrence Haines. The seminar can also be given in person for some companies.
Included are the basic principles of getting started in bringing out the best performance of the people in the company. It is suggested that those attending such a seminar first read the book People are Everything as preparation for the material to be covered. Leaders should determine that there is a general agreement that the company needs improvement in helping people to maximize their performance.
A firm resolve by general management to effect improvement should be first assured.
Included in the seminar are suggestions for specific steps that can be taken to include all supervisory people in a commitment to the most effective principles.
It is desirable that prior to the seminar, a provided questionnaire be distributed to employees asking general questions about their vision of improving things to make a better company.
